The Daughter I Don’t See

This one’s hard to write.

There were choices that shaped my life—some I owned, some I did not. Each one left a mark, teaching me to carry the weight and keep moving forward.

Some nights, I wonder if she knows I exist or that I still think of her—her laugh, faint like a distant song. Does she see the man I am working to become? Will she ever look past the silence and notice the growth?

Maybe she will. Maybe she will not. That is not mine to control.

What I can shape is the man I am today—for my son, my newborn daughter, my partner, and myself.

If you are a parent who is lost a connection, made mistakes, or struggles to find the path back, you’re not alone.

Doing right will not always bring closure. Sometimes, it just leaves you with quiet resolve.

And still… we show up.

This is Greatness in Training.
